The Pattern comes with 16 pages of clearly typed instructions divided into ten simple steps and is illustrated with 38 small coloured pictures. The Pattern pieces are on 6 x A3 sheets of paper. The pattern pieces do not need to be enlarged.
Guinea Pigs!
I asked three people to be guinea pigs and try out the pattern for me at different stages
of the design. I gave them all the materials, all they had to do was make the Puppet. Read below how they got on!
Tony's Puppet
Pictured is my husband Tony with his boy puppet dressed in a Superman outfit! Tony was the first to try out my pattern quite early on
in the making of it. He had never used a sewing machine before so found that a bit tricky especially the fingers. However he found the instructions easy to follow
and was delighted with his finished Puppet and amazed he had made it!
Julieanne's Puppet
This is my daughter Julieanne. Her puppet is made in a tan coloured fabric
for a European look! She asked me a few questions about the instructions when she was making
her puppet and I realised I should encourage people to contact me by phone or email if they get stuck!
She also found the instructions easy to follow with my help!
Angela's Puppet
Pictured is my friend Angela. Her puppet's hair was made from Sirdar Bigga wool which was then unwound into two strands to give
the weaved effect. Angela gave me some good feed back on the pattern and from that I decided to include more coloured pictures.
