Puppets Bring Good News and Teach Maths!
Pictured are Bill and Margaret Marks who belong to Causeway Prospects, a Christian organisation which helps bring the good news of Jesus to people with learning disabilities. Margaret writes "Although mainly adults, the group still enjoyed Steve and Sally when they helped explain Biblical stories at their local group in Glasgow and also at the Scottish weekend in Gartmore in May.

Margaret also found her pupils in Firpark School, a school for children with special needs, were much more attentive when being taught Maths by Steve and Sally. They loved it when Steve 'ate' all their triangles, circles and rectangles. Much more fun!

Is this the way to Amarillo?
A few weeks ago the Sunday Post Newsaper had a story about a little gir's bunny rabbit that died. Her mum decided to have a funeral in their garden and the little girl and her friends gathered to say goodbye to the bunny. The mum said a prayer then asked if anyone would like to sing. A little five year old girl burst into "Is this the way to Amarillo"? I thought this was so funny and laughed and laughed. However I did wonder where in America Amarillo was. It wasn't long before I found out. A few hours later I received an order for 5 puppets from guess where? Yes - Amarillo in Texas, USA!

Another order for 5 puppets!
These 5 puppets were ordered from a church in Aberdeenshire in the North of Scotland to be used as part of a children's holiday club.

Steve & Sally Stay Healthy
Pictured are Emma and Jenny with puppets Steve (with a large tummy!) and Sally. Jenny writes what they did. "We work as teachers in Cedars School of Excellence - a private Christian school in Greenock. As part of our summer term in 2005 we ran a health fair for pupils aged 5-14 years.

As well as Steve & Sally we introduced a variety of exciting characters such as a French dinosaur, an Aussie surfing turtle and two trampolining sock puppets. They all worked together to help an overweight and unfit Steve get fit and healthy through eating and exercise. The show was a great success with all the children and a fantastic opportunity to get our message across. Definitely something we would do again!"

Church Puppets in Africa
Dorcas from Zimbabwe wrote "I received the puppets on the 5th of January. In our local language called Shona we say “tatenda zvikuru” which means “thank you so much”.

Laura from Angola wrote "They look fantastic! I know that they will be perfect for our projects in Angola". Laura works for Medair an international humanitarian aid organisation.
