People say my puppets look sweet and are very good visually for children. Some puppets I've seen look scary, ugly
and even sensual!
Who makes the puppets?
I make all the puppets myself.
Where are they made?
All the puppets are made at my home in Glasgow in my Church Puppets work room.
Where do you buy your materials?
All the materials are bought from UK manufacturers and craft shops - foam, stretch fleece, polyester stuffing, glues, eyes,
fur fabric, wool, velcro and lots more!
To get started we would need to buy a number of puppets but don't you think this is expensive for a church budget?
The first puppets we used we paid for ourselves and although it seemed a lot at the time we used them for 15 years.
They were then passed on to some young people to use. An incredible number of people were blessed by what now seems like a very small investment!
Two people puppets and five sketches would only be £80. By today's standards this really isn't a lot of money!
